my n-level English examination-composition.
'PROMISES'
i was staring outside of the window as the rain poured heavily to the ground.
all the birds were back to their shelters.no one was at the streets.
all i saw was water everywhere.i broke into tears as i recalled the sweetest
moment of my life while the radio was playing 'the king of pops' song,
'ill be there' .i was all alone in the bedroom.
although it happened 10 years back but I'm still waiting for the
sweetest promise.
Marie and i were friends since we were in primary school.we often study
together and soon went to the same secondary school.at the age of 14
we made our decisions to share our life together,to be the sweetest couple and
yes we did.everyone in the school envied our relationships.although people
thought we were happy all the times but there was a moment where all
couples do not want to face.we been through many hard and easy times
together.not only life but we did share our knowledge with one another
so that we could achieve better results in our examinations.
our happiness came to an end when Marie made her decisions to follow
her dad who was offered to start a business in Dubai.i felt joyless upon
hearing her decisions.there was no happiness for me but i started to cooled down
right after she promised me to be back here and live with me for the rest
of her life.we were separated after 4 years of relationship.
years by years gone but there was no news.i had suspected earlier that
this will happens.i did not even knew her condition there as we
had lost our contacts.
my recalled of the sweet moments with Marie was cut short as
soon as i heard someone knocked on my room door.
''daddy, lets have our lunch, our meals are ready,''said my four years old
daughter while hugging her beloved Winnie the pooh.I'm already married to Jane with two
kids.now i realised that every tree that falls will grow and things that were
lost will be replace.i knew that i have to move on with life although
Marie did not meet her 'promises'.
